Sa fonction première est de servir de support polyvalent capable de supporter une large gamme de systèmes de finition sans ajouter de charge morte inutile à la structure.

Associé au stratifié minéral XSTONE, le panneau devient un système composite haute performance où Veroboard assure l’intégrité structurelle, la stabilité et la facilité d’installation, tandis que le stratifié minéral XSTONE confère à la surface finale un aspect de pierre authentique, une texture minérale et une résistance de surface améliorée. Cette intégration permet de reproduire les matériaux minéraux naturels dans une solution légère, flexible et techniquement efficace.

Le système offre une manipulation facile, une flexibilité pour les surfaces courbes, une excellente résistance aux fissures et aux chocs, et une déformation thermique et hygrométrique extrêmement faible, garantissant des joints précis et des finitions sans faille. Veroboard® AllStar is composed of an expanded glass granulate core combined with reactive or organic resin-based binders and reinforced with alkali-resistant glass-fibre mesh on both sides. This structure provides an optimal balance between lightweight performance and mechanical strength.

In combination with XSTONE mineral laminate, the system becomes a multilayer assembly:
  • Structural support: Veroboard® AllStar panel
  • Bonding layer: suitable adhesives
  • Finishing layer: XSTONE mineral laminate with real mineral texture

The manufacturing process is based on controlled dosing and mixing of components, integration of the glass-fibre mesh within a mould, pressing at elevated temperature, followed by demoulding and cutting to size. This ensures consistent industrial quality and performance suitable for demanding architectural applications.

Eco Sustainability, Environmental Performance & Certification

Veroboard® AllStar is built around a circular economy approach, with its core material primarily composed of expanded glass granulate made from recycled glass. This significantly reduces environmental impact while maintaining high technical performance.

The product benefits from a manufacturing process powered by hydropower and offers a reference service life of approximately 40 years, which can exceed 50 years when integrated into building systems. According to the Environmental Product Declaration, no SVHC substances exceed 0.1% by mass, no biocides are added, and emissions remain very low, including formaldehyde levels ≤ 10 µg/m³.

When combined with XSTONE mineral laminate, the system further strengthens its environmental profile through a mineral-based, non-toxic surface solution, free from solvents and plasticizers, with very low VOC emissions. This creates a durable, healthy, and sustainable system suitable for projects targeting high environmental standards.

The panel is classified A2-s1,d0 according to EN 13501-1, meeting stringent fire safety requirements. The EPD (EPD-Kiwa-EE-000427-EN) is valid until 2030, ensuring transparency and credibility in environmental performance.

Installation Techniques & Application Methods

Veroboard® AllStar is designed for fast, practical, and efficient on-site installation. The panel can be cut with a knife, scored and snapped, and installed without pre-drilling or specialized tools, significantly reducing installation time and complexity.

The board allows direct application of adhesives, plasters, fillers, and finishing systems, including XSTONE mineral laminate, often without the need for priming depending on the system configuration. This makes it highly adaptable for projects requiring both technical performance and high-end finishes.
