The fusion of innovation and authenticity has found a new canvas at London’s most luxurious fitness and health club, Third Space, at their new Wimbledon site. The vision for this project initially leaned towards a printed wallcovering that emulated concrete, however, Oliver English from Ensign presented XSTONE to the client as an alternative surface finish that combines the urban and industrial finish to meet the brief.
Renowned for their expertise in leisure sector branding and corporate interiors, Ensign have worked with XSTONE materials in the past, understanding how their physical and natural beauty in the built environment contrasts to digitally printed or factory made alternatives. A trial installation of 2 panels demonstrated how the corridor space could be transformed.
The result was a space that exudes sophistication and urban charm, setting the stage for a unique fitness experience.
